Armin Gessert is best known as the co-creator of The Great Giana Sisters. He was one of the developers behind the computer game The Great Giana Sisters for Commodore 64 along with Manfred Trenz and Chris Hülsbeck. His previous employers included the labels Rainbow Arts and Blue Byte. History[]In 1994 he established his own company, Spellbound Entertainment, which has released several titles, among them Desperados, Desperados 2 and Airline Tycoon. Gessert was credited in the Nintendo DS and iPhone remake of the Great Giana Sisters as "Armin Gessert's The Great Giana Sisters". He was the game's Executive Producer and it was his last game before dying of a heart attack on November 8, 2009. He had been working in the video game industry for 25 years. |
