That means this article is either one of the best of the Giana Sisters Wiki or important to introduce the lore and its creation of the series for newbies. You can still edit the article nonetheless, but please be cautious when doing so. Thank you.
The Fire Wheel is the main power-up of the series. This power-up appears on some Giana Sisters games (mostly games based on The Great Giana Sisters). It allows Giana and Maria to turn into Punks.
It is a spherical object, with 2 pairs of yellow, 1 pair of pink and red stripes. In the Amiga 500 version, it cycles from red, to pink, to white color from the center to the border. In Giana Sisters DS, it has 1 pair of pink and red stripes, sligthly whirlwinded.
Ability[]
In The Great Giana Sisters, it gives you abilities to break blocks from below, taking diamonds from bricks and transform specific bricks into a rock by hitting them from below.
In Giana Sisters DS, it does the same but also gives you ability to shoot fireballs, replacing the Lightning power-up.
Trivia[]
The Fire Wheel is the second most recurring bonus of the series besides the Bubble Gum gadget, after the diamond.
The Fire Wheel is the only power-up that came back in the sequel, Giana Sisters DS, not to mention the Lightning power-up merged with it.
