  A screenshot of the prototype gameplay. Gameplay[]The gameplay is the same as Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, except the environment can be explored in 3D. Giana is still able to Twist, use the Twirl as Cute and use the Fire Dash as Punk. The test level contains many floating platforms which various of them are colored; yellow platforms are paths that require Cute Giana while red ones require Punk Giana. The grey platforms doesn't have any characteristics but blue spkies hurt. The diamonds are placed around the level that Giana can collect and works the same as the prequel. There is also owls that she can defeat only by using the Fire Dash. Voids and blue spikes need to be avoided. The sunlight changes direction when Giana twist the Dream World. The prototype reuses very few assets from Twisted Dreams, such as the owls and Giana. Though Punk Giana's model isn't reused, instead, it uses Cute Giana's model with the alternat costume "Twisted Sisters" from the Limited Edition. The checkpoints are bigger diamonds instead of boxes with a flag. The level is completed by collecting a giant diamond, appearing as a big green sphere with many Hexagonal prisms around, though nothing else happen when collected.
