Octor Freud (Palpus Maximus) is the second boss from Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. He's the Dream World counterpart of Giana's Teacher. Appearance[]Octor Freud is a green giant kraken with 10 tentacles which one of them is hurted, there are spikes on the sides. A harpoon is implanted on the left side of his head. His eyes are yellow. Cutscenes[]In Clockwork Lighthouse, an owl is seen preparing to fire a cannon before being stomped by Giana. He falls and drop the torch, lighting the fire wick and launching the cannon that fires a spear. The spear hits Octor Freud's head, making him hurt and sad. In Dreadful Straits, Octor Freud is chilling in the sea, wearing large sunglasses with a ruberduck. Owls are being chased by Giana, attracting his attention. Eventually, Giana hits his damaged tentacle, making him hurt and sad again. And finally in the next level, Octor Freud envelope a ship with his tentacle and breaks it half, showing his wrath at Giana for hurting him before. Fight[]Octor Freud can be fought in Dreadful Straits or the level with the same name has him. Before Giana enters into the fight scene, She will have to Fire Dash through a repeater, collecting gems on the way and hitting a green owl to stop the dash. The player shouldn't stop dashing or else Giana will fall into the crystals and die. There are one-world platforms that the player must pay attention to not fall, as there's an acid sea below. Like every boss of the game, he has 3 HP. Octor Freud emerge from the sea before the fight start. At the first phase, he attacks Giana with 4 of his tentacles 3 times in a row. He takes a dive before showing his hurted tentacle, then tries to attack with it. Once it hits the ground, Giana has the time to hit it, dealing one damage to Octor Freud. The 2 other phases are the same, with only one exception more tentacles appear to attack; 6 on the second phase, 8 on the third. Once defeated, Octor Freud screams and dive deep into the sea.
